Beacon Lane development

This project in Winterbourne involved the demolition of two existing houses to create space for two distinct residential developments: one comprising five homes and another of four. We successfully secured planning permission for both schemes and were subsequently retained as the contract architect for the four-house development.

To the rear of the site is a derelict market garden with a number of barns on which planning was refused. The client has retained these for possible future development.

The 4 house terrace sits in line with neighbouring semi-detached houses.
Each house is three storey: two bedrooms at first floor and a loft room with feature balcony velux windows making the most of the rural views to the rear.
Rear barns
Two of bigger barns on site were to be converted into residential dwellings whilst the rest of the small outbuildings were to be removed.
