Crow Meadow

A project in which we were developer and architect.

Set at the edge of Kingswood village, off a public footpath, this scheme for two family houses was a challenge.

Firstly, we faced local opposition who managed to mobilise local councillors against the project and who rejected it at planning on very dubious grounds – this was quickly overturned at appeal.

Secondly, the site was accessed from an unmade track which was also a public footpath which required legal clarification to prove we had a right of access.

Thirdly, shortly after start on site, the world shut down for covid.

After a drawn-out build, the houses sold in 2024/5 for a healthy return.
